Beth James is a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist with MRSHC. She earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University. Beth enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and has special interests in adult language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders as well as school-age language and articulation therapy.
Beth was drawn to Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center because of its mission to provide exceptional speech, hearing, and swallowing services to individuals and families throughout the Appalachian region. She values the center’s commitment to ensuring that quality care is accessible to everyone and is passionate about helping clients develop the communication skills they need in everyday life.
When she’s not at work, Beth enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Bo. In her free time, you can often find her hiking, white-water rafting, watching a good movie, or searching for her next favorite ice cream shop.
